There should be 671,000 protesters in Lansing, all ready to go to jail. This is a matter of life; life as a human or a tool used by the top capitalist to make the owners and CEOs the haves and the workers the have nots.
Every union leader must call the membership of their local together and go to Lansing; this is nothing to take lightly. All the jobs from China will come back and the workers in the United States will be making a day-to-day pay.
No tomorrow, no retirement, no benefits, just a day’s pay. I see it all the time in Haiti: people in Haiti work for the day, not for a future, the pay is so low. They die by 50 or 55 and the average age is only 24. The good people of this state can’t let this fight kill unions’ work.
