Unfortunately, our political parties value power over patriotism.
Bing was a businessman who played basketball – just right for the outsiders (and the insiders) that wanted a clean break from all that was Detroit politics.
Allegations of Nixonian behavior are laughable, no one has produced any evidence that anyone outside the IRS was even aware of the issue.
Of course the Obama administration tramples First Amendment rights. But apparently it’s only noteworthy when it harms the press.
