Local man shakes his body on national dating show

If you’ve ever seen the new dating show “Excused” then you know it’s a wild ride of laughs and rejection.

“It’s a fun show where I get to speak my mind as a comedian,” says host Iliza Shlesinger. “We don’t make fun of how guys look but we will make fun of their shirts.”

Shlesinger undoubtedly had a lot to say about Royal Oak native Michael Lazzara, who recently appeared as a bachelor on the show and danced like a maniac for his date.

“Excused” airs 7 p.m. weekdays on WADL-TV (Channel 38).
