Chart news: Adele on top (shocker!)

With the holidays over, Michael Buble’s “Christmas” falls from the top spot on Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart, leaving Adele’s “21″ to land at No. 1 for its 14th non-consecutive week, according to Nielsen Soundscan. Adele’s set adds another 144,000 scans to its tally, as it inches ever-closer to the 6-million sales mark.

Drake, Young Jeezy and Lady Antebellum follow “21,” while LMFAO makes its best showing yet on the Billboard chart with “Sorry For Party Rocking,” which finishes the week at No. 5. Is it time to start thinking about these dudes as album artists?

The post-holiday sales week also sees Adele’s 2008 album, “19,” land at No. 11.

And that Buble set? It falls all the way to No. 24, but don’t worry, it will be back next holiday season.
