Eminem shows off his life behind closed doors — an over-the-top, comedic version of it, at least — in the new video for Slaughterhouse’s “My Life.”
In the beginning of the clip, Em — referred to in voiceover by Robin Leach as “the ever-resourceful gazillionaire” — is shown skeet shooting with platinum records, chilling in a garage with 300 Chrysler 300s, and playing Whack-A-Mole with baby seals. Later, he even cracks a smile — when’s the last time Em did that? — while being fed grapes by his live-in dinosaurs. (The clip is meant to spoof the “Cribs” lifestyle and is part of a mock show called “Rappers Are Richer Than You”).
The opening sequence then leads into the Slaughterhouse vid, which features Cee-Lo on the chorus. WARNING: Explicit lyrics follow.
Well, that clears up Eminem’s Robin Leach tweet from Tuesday.
Slaughterhouse’s “Welcome to: Our House” is due out next month.
