Chris Brown's Fortune lands him at No. 1

Chris Brown lands his second No. 1 album on this week’s Billboard Top 200 albums chart with his latest, “Fortune.” The less said about this the better.

Brown’s triumph blocks Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” from returning to No. 1. The album surged on the charts thanks to a promotion where it was sold for $0.99 on Amazon.com’s MP3 store, in accordance with the release of Perry’s 3D movie, “Part of Me.”

The Amazon promotion also benefited Gotye, fun. and the Black Keys, all of whom return to the Top 10 this week. Meanwhile, Linkin Park’s “Living Things,” last week’s No. 1, falls to No. 5.

Next week’s chart will see new arrivals from the Zac Brown Band and possibly Frank Ocean, whose “Channel Orange” was released digitally this week, a week ahead of its physical release.
