Flo Rida, the Wanted headed to 955's Jingle Ball

Hitmaking Miami rapper Flo Rida will headline this year’s WKQI-FM’s (95.5) Jingle Ball, Nov. 24 at Detroit’s Fox Theatre, the station announced on-air Wednesday morning.

He’ll be joined by British boy band the Wanted. Pop singer Austin Mahone, actress/ singer Bridgit Mendler, Michigan duo Megan & Liz, Boston rapper Sammy Adams and 11-year-old turntablist DJ Beatboy are also on the bill.

Tickets, $29.50-$150, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Ticketmaster.

Flo Rida’s “Whistle” spent two non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart over the summer. His fourth album, “Wild Ones,” debuted at No. 14 on Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart in July.

The Wanted, meanwhile, scored a Top 3 hit with their single “Glad You Came,” from the band’s self-titled EP. The set debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200.

Last year’s Jingle Ball was topped by French DJ David Guetta.
