Ellie Goulding heading to Royal Oak Music Theatre

“Lights” singer Ellie Goulding will perform at the Royal Oak Music Theatre Jan. 28, she announced Monday via her website.

Tickets, $29.50-$55, go on sale at noon on Friday. Pre-sale information is available here.

Goulding scored a huge hit this year with “Lights,” the title track from her 2010 debut album. “Lights” peaked at No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart; it was blocked from the top spot by Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” and Flo Rida’s “Whistle,” if you need someone to direct your anger toward.

She released her second album, “Halcyon,” earlier this month. It debuted at No. 9 on Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart, selling 34,000 copies its first week.

Skrillex’s better half also played the Royal Oak Music Theatre in August 2011.
