Reunited rockers Soundgarden have scheduled a Jan. 27 concert at the Fillmore Detroit, promoters announced Friday.
Tickets, $59.50, go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 16 via LiveNation.com and through Ticketmaster channels.
The Seattle rock group, whose heavy sound helped define the grunge movement in the 1990s, called it quits in 1997 but reformed in 2010. “King Animal,” the group’s sixth album and first studio effort since 1996′s “Down on the Upside,” is due out next week.
The Fillmore show will be the band’s first area concert since it played The Palace of Auburn Hills in November 1996.
