Listen: Eminem bolsters new singles by 50 Cent, Skylar Grey

Last month we counted down Eminem’s 40 greatest guest verses, and now he’s got two more to add to the canon as Mr. Mathers popped up on new songs this week with 50 Cent and Skylar Grey.

“My Life” is 50 Cent’s new single, and it features a scorching verse by Eminem, who raps in triple or possibly even quadruple time and sounds like he’s so hungry for rhymes he has saliva dripping from his mouth. “My Life” — the first single from 50 Cent’s upcoming “Street King Immortal” project, and not to be confused with Lil Wayne and the Game’s “My Life” or Slaughterhouse and Cee-Lo’s “My Life” — also features a chorus by Adam Levine, marking the first time Eminem and “The Voice” judge have appeared on a song together. Listen (warning, explicit lyrics):

Grey’s “Come On Let Me Ride” is an innuendo-laden dirty pop jam that’s unlike anything we’ve heard yet from Grey, revealing a playful, sassy side to the frequent ballad singer. Eminem makes like Pee-Wee Herman on the chorus and then drops a tongue-twisting verse that is also lighter than his recent output. Listen (again, explicit lyrics):

And since we’re on the topic of Eminem verses, here’s Slim Shady’s oddball contribution to Rihanna’s “Unapologetic” album, “Numb.” You may remember these two came up with a sort of big song together a couple of years ago. This one’s a little more off-kilter. Listen (warning: lyrics, etc.):
