4 Bibb lettuce leaves
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon, olive oil
1/4 pound ground pork
1 teaspoon Oriental five-spice powder
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/3 carrot, shredded
1/8 cucumber, peeled and julienned
Wash lettuce leaves and set aside. In a pan over medium heat, add the olive oil and garlic and sauté until it turns brown. Then add pork, five-spice powder, soy sauce, and brown sugar and cook until the pork is browned, 8 to 10 minutes. Scoop the pork mixture into the lettuce leaves. Garnish with the carrot and cucumber.
