Recipe adapted from Aunt Olives Good Food 2 Go.
1 can refried black beans
1 1/2 cups prepared salsa, divided
Juice of 1 lime, divided
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro plus more for garnish
1 cup prepared guacamole
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Warm beans on stovetop and stir in 1/2 cup salsa and 1/2 of the lime juice.
Mix sour cream with rest of lime juice and the cilantro.
Spread black bean mixture evenly on a serving platter and top with layers of guacamole, cilantro sour cream, rest of salsa and cheddar cheese. Garnish with more salsa and cilantro leaves.
Serve with tortilla chips or warm flour tortillas. Makes 8 servings.
