1 pound good quality blue cheese, crumbled
4 tablespoons butter, softened
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 clove garlic
1 cup pecans, toasted and finely chopped
1/2 cup green onions, finely chopped
1/2 cup chopped Italian parsley
Place cheese, butter, cream and garlic in bowl of food processor and process until smooth. Transfer mixture to serving bowl or crock and fold in pecans, green onions and parsley
Cover and chill at least 4 hours or overnight. Remove from fridge 1 hour before serving. Serve with toasted baguette slices, crackers, pear or apple slices.
