What do you feel about Steve Yzerman’s return to Joe Louis Arena Wednesday night?
Yzerman, of course, is the GM of the Tampa Bay Lightning these days.
It’s one thing if Yzerman were behind the bench as a coach, and of course if he were still a player, and returning to Joe Louis Arena in a different uniform.
But as GM, it’s a little bit different, isn’t it?
I’m not sure what kind of passion that stirs within Wings fans (if any).
The Wings are planning a short in-game video tribute, which is fitting.
But Yzerman wearing a suit and tie as part of another organization is much different than if Yzerman were wearing another team’s jersey on the ice.
