Quite the personal dual this evening between Pavel Datsyuk and Pittsburgh’s Evgeni Malkin. They were the best players on the ice, bar none. Give Datsyuk the slight edge overall, and the fact the Wings won 4-1. There was some head-scratching early in the season when Datsyuk (and Henrik Zetterberg) were struggling to score. But Datsyuk is playing at a world-class level right now. He was brilliant down the stretch in this game.
