Wings, Stars underway at The Joe

The team wearing red can’t lose on Valentine’s Day, right?

We are underway at Joe Louis Arena as the Red Wings look to set an NHL record for consecutive home wins. The Stars are 11th out of 15 teams in the Western Conference and the Red Wings have won all three meetings this season.

Kari Lehtonen is in goal for the Stars tonight.

The Red Wings had the game’s first chance on a Drew Miller deflection in front of the goal in the opening 90 seconds. The line of Miller, Darren Helm and Justin Abdelkader was buzzing.
