Riley Sheahan to make his NHL debut for Red Wings

One interesting change in the lineup this afternoon as the Red Wings host the Chicago Blackhawks.
Recently signed forward Riley Sheahan, the former 2010 1st-round pick out of Notre Dame, will replace Jan Mursak.
Sheahan has good size (6-foot-2, 200 pounds) and scored 64 points (20 goal, 44 assists) in 114 career games at Notre Dame.
He was impressive, too, while on a short try-out in Grand Rapids.
By the way, Danny Cleary (knee) remains a scratch. Cleary was noticeably limping after the St. Louis game and it’ll be interesting to see how much the knee comes around for the start of the playoffs.
