Todd Bertuzzi stepped up to the challenge and fought Shea Weber just 1:36 into Game 2 on Friday, looking for some payback after Weber’s cheap shot on Henrik Zetterberg on Wednesday.
The two jostled in the Red Wings zone with Bertuzzi landed the better shots but neither man gaining a big edge, including heading into the net at one point.
Nashville’s Mike Fisher punched Johan Franzen in the head. Franzen went for some revenge up the ice and was called for cross checking, sending Nashville to the power play. Franzen’s nose was bloodied in the exchange, but no call was made on Fisher.
