Red Wings finally beat Rinne, tie game

Jiri Hudler scored off a deflection of a Niklas Kronwall shot to tie Tuesday’s Game 4 between Detroit and Nashville at 1-1.

Less than 90 seconds after Nashville took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Gabriel Bourque, the Predators took a bench minor for too many men and the Red Wings made them pay, as Hudler finally produced to tie the game with a very nice deflection in front of Pekka Rinne, who had stopped Detroit’s first 29 shots of the night.

Kyle Quincey picked up the other assist on the goal, which came at 3:14, 1:19 after Nashville took the lead.
