Neither team has budged so far through five minutes of Tuesday’s Western Conference quarterfinal Game 5, as we remain scoreless at Joe Louis Arena.
As each minute goes by, the first goal becomes more and more important. The Red Wings absolutely have to have it. No ifs, ands or buts about it. If Nashville scores first, it could be a crushing blow the way this game has gone.
There’s been little to talk about here through the opening minutes, as neither team has had a good chance outside of a goal-mouth scramble for the Red Wings.
