Babcock disagrees with Redmond, others; says Wings are getting to the net

Mickey Redmond, the Red Wings’ television analyst, has been one person, among many, saying how the Nashville Predators are doing a good job of keeping the Wings to the outside.
Redmond, and others, don’t feel the Wings are getting enough shots close enough to Predators goalie Pekka Rinne.
Coach Mike Babcock doesn’t feel that’s totally accurate.
“I hear Mickey Redmond say, ‘They’re keeping them on the outside’. So the good thing about that is I watched the game and watched it on my computer and then ‘NHL On the Fly’ played it again,” said Babcock at his Thursday press conference. “So I watched it three times to see if that’s the truth, to see if we’re never getting to the net, and we’re never getting on the inside, and all I can do is go off what I see and I don’t think that’s the truth.”
Babcock said he wouldn’t mind if his team played the same way it did in Game 4, minus those two breakdowns in the third period.
But getting to the net, Babcock feels his team did a good job of that in Game 4.
