Nashville has carried the play in the Wings’ zone for most of the second period, coming up with scoring chance after scoring chance. And, Jimmy Howard has been a brick wall.
Howard has made big saves on Shea Weber and Patric Hornqvist.
Howard has also had help from his friends as Brad Stuart did a great job on knocking the puck away from a Nashville player right in front, and Valtteri Filppula got his stick to deflect another scoring chance.
The Predators are still holding a 1-0 lead with 14 minutes left in the second.
