OUCH! The Red Wings turned the puck over and Nashville made them pay with Alexander Radulov taking a pass from behind the net and beating Jimmy Howard with a point blank shot with 3:50 left in the opening period.
Wings defenseman Kyle Quincey tried to chip the puck behind his own net to a teammate when a Nashville player stole the puck and found Radulov.
The Red Wings had just killed off a Nashville power play minutes earlier, and then Howard came up big on a save on Mike Fisher’s wrist shot from between the circles with five minutes left.
Nashville dodged a penalty a minute before when it looked like it had too many men on the ice.
The team scoring the first goal has won each of the games.
The Wings are on the power play with 1 1-2 minutes left
