Sharks, Stuart close to a contract agreement

Not a surprise here, as Brad Stuart and the San Jose Sharks appear close to a contract agreement.
TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger is saying the two sides will announce a deal within the next couple of days.
The Red Wings traded Stuart’s rights – he could have been an unresricted free agent on July 1 – to the Sharks last week for a conditional 7th-round draft pick in 2014 and the rights to forward Andrew Murray.
As has been heavily reported Stuart’s family lives in northern California year round, and it was a major reason Stuart was looking to return to the Sharks.
