Red Wings bring back Gustavsson, while sending down Mrazek

The Red Wings have recalled goalie Jonas Gustavsson and sent down goalie Petr Mrazek to minor league affiliate Grand Rapids.
Gustavsson, who has been troubled with a groin injury, stopped 26 of 27 shots Sunday for Grand Rapids in a 2-1 victory over Charlotte.
Mrazek lost a 3-2 decision to Minnesota Sunday, making his NHL record 1-1-0 with a 2.02 goals-against average and .922 save percentage while backing up Jimmy Howard.
Gustavsson, 28, has appeared in one period of one game thus far, replacing Howard on opening night during a 6-0 loss to St. Louis.
With the heavy schedule coming up, you’ll see Gustavsson soon. But at the same time, Mrazek will likely be heard from again.
In his short time with the Red Wings, Mrazek certainly stamped himself a legitimate NHL prospect.
