Latin pop star Paulina Rubio is bilingual and bi-delinquent. After getting dinged for $530,000 in late taxes in Mexico, Rubio is $210,000 in debt to the IRS, according to public records.
The tax woe is the latest personal problem for Rubio, 40, who reportedly is estranged from her husband and rehabbing her image after an incident with police in Miami.

Turns out former Detroit Red Wings sniper Luc Robitaille can scratch off a check as quickly as he can avoid one. Within hours of learning Thursday (from us) that the state of Utah was hunting for him over a $58,000 late tax bill, Robitaille paid up.

Luc Robitaille sounded as good natured as ever Thursday, even though he was $58,380 lighter.
The 45-year-old LA Kings president thought the tax bill might have been tied to the sale of his home and property in Utah, but asked for some time to check with his business manager. Robitaille called back quickly and provided a receipt showing the bill was paid Thursday afternoon.
“I just want to thank you very much,” he said. “I was a little bit nervous. The last thing I want in my life is to not pay my taxes. At least I got my taxes paid and can go to sleep tonight.”
