Tax man launches Beastie boy beatdown

Beastie Boys member Ad-Rock just sabotaged his unblemished record of paying taxes. He owes more than $2,100 in income taxes to the state of Ohio, according to public records.

The tax bill is emerging 25 years after the Beastie Boys released the legendary album “Licensed to Ill.”

What’s owed:

  • The state of Ohio filed a $2,115 lien against Ad-Rock, real name Adam Horovitz, and his wife, riot grrrl Kathleen Hanna on June 15 in Franklin County Common Pleas Court.
