Redskins receiver's taxes gather moss

Veteran Washington Redskins receiver Santana Moss just fumbled his tax bill, according to the IRS, which claims he owes more than $258,000.

The 32-year-old University of Miami alumnus was a first-round draft pick of the New York Jets in 2001.

What’s owed:

  • The IRS filed a $258,017 tax lien against Santana Moss on Nov. 22 in Broward County Circuit Court. According to the tax lien, which you can see here, he and several others owe income taxes from 2006. His NFL salary was $1.9 million that year.

The address on the lien is an office suite in Boca Raton. Here’s his $5.2 million mansion in Lighthouse Point, Fla.:
