Ruh-roh, singer Paulina Rubio owes IRS dough

Latin pop star Paulina Rubio is bilingual and bi-delinquent. After getting dinged for $530,000 in late taxes in Mexico, Rubio is $210,000 in debt to the IRS, according to public records.

The tax woe is the latest personal problem for Rubio, 40, who reportedly is estranged from her husband and  rehabbing her image after an incident with police in Miami.

What’s owed:

  • The IRS filed a $132,642 tax lien against Paulina Rubio on Jan. 10 in Dade County (Fla.) Circuit Court. According to the lien, which you can see here, Rubio owes income taxes from 2010.
  • The IRS filed a $77,677 tax lien against Rubio on Dec. 22, 2010, in Broward County Circuit Court.

The address on the most recent lien is Rubio’s island mansion in Miami Beach.

Her side: Rubio could not be reached for comment.
