Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. is going another round with the IRS. Months after knuckle-sandwiching a $10.5 million tax debt, the IRS has accused the Grand Rapids native of owing another $2.99 million.
The feds have filed two tax liens against Mayweather in Nevada since February, according to public records. Misery loves company, apparently, because that’s the same state where ski racer Lindsey Vonn recently ran into tax problems.
What’s owed:
- The IRS filed a $671,491 tax lien against Floyd Mayweather Jr. on March 14 with the Clark County (Nev.) County Recorder.
- The IRS filed a $2,324,502 tax lien against Mayweather on Feb. 8 in Clark County. The address on both liens is Mayweather’s condo in Las Vegas.
