Granholm video wins top honors from political consultants group

A video about the accomplishments of former Gov. Jennifer Granholm has won a Gold Pollie Award for best non-broadcast video from the The American Association of Political Consultants.

The roughly seven-minute video was created by The Dewey Square Group, which has offices in Grosse Pointe and seven other cities across the country, and Joe Slade White & Co of New York.

We’re “honored to have had the opportunity to memorialize the historic work of Gov. Granholm,” Chuck Campion, founding partner of the Dewey Square Group, said in a press release. “We are also pleased to have been acknowledged for this video by our peers.”

The video was paid for by The Michigan 2010 Foundation, which also commissioned the official portrait of Granholm, which which will be hung in the Capitol Rotunda.
