It’s Sam Riddle week here at the City Hall Insider, as Michigan’s most fascinating incarcerated political consultant makes the rounds of the penal media.
Thrsday, Riddle shared his secret fantasies about working for the U.S. Justice Department and came out of the Kid Rock fanboy closet on a prison blog.
This morning, Riddle is sending home photos from summer camp Butner Correctional Facility in North Carolina. From them, the Insider can only conclude that (a) The pokey has done nothing to diminish Riddle’s savoir-faire cool (b) The way to establish prisonyard cred is to smile with your pearly whites and flash the thumbs-up and (c) Riddle isn’t wasting his precious pennies at the commissary buying anti-perspirant.
The pix are posted on Riddle’s U.S. Bureau of Prisons rules supposedly banning Internet usage among cons.
