Presidential debate: How to keep jobs in U.S.

The candidates were asked what they will do to keep jobs in America, so they are not shifted overseas.

An important issue, Romney said, since more than half a million jobs have been lost.

“I will makse sure it is more attractive to keep jobs in America,” Romney said.

That is key to bringing back jobs here, but it’s also making America the most attractive place in the world to do business. That’s why Romney said he wants to bring down the tax rate

“We have to be competitive if we want to create more jobs here,” Romney said.

We need to create jobs here, Obama said.

He and Romeny agree that America should lower the coprorate tax rate but they have different approaches.

He said he wanted to close loopholes that allow compnanies to deduct expenses when they move to China, and more.

“Gov. Romney wants to expand tax breaks,” Obama said. “That’s not how we are going to create jobs here.”
