Win a trip to Jamaica on new charter flights from Lansing

Jamaica is bringing musical vibes and island warmth to the 20th annual Zehnder’s Snowfest this weekend in Frankenmuth. Visitors may try their luck at getting through Jamaican-themed ice carvings on a 9-hole mini-golf course in Zehnder’s parking lot (behind Rau’s Country Store) from 3-8 pm Friday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m., Sunday. Cost is $2 per person.

Beyond the family-bonding time, travelers will have a chance to stop by Jamaica tourism’s booth inside the heated Snowfest tent to enter to win a winter escape aboard Apple Vacations’ new winter charter from Capital Region International Airport (LAN) in Lansing.

Four-hour, nonstop flights will operate on Sundays through April 24.

The charter departs Lansing at 7 a.m., and arrives at Montego Bay airport just before 11 a.m. The return flight is scheduled to depart Montego Bay airport at 11:50 a.m., and arrive in Lansing at 3:50 p.m.
Apple Vacations flies SunCountry Airlines, using B737-800 aircraft configured with 162 seats.

Weekly air and hotel packages start at around $1,050 per person. Contact a travel agent for details or check here
