I hate to admit it, but Lady Gaga is right. It is possible to booze and lose. She is losing weight on Yoga and booze. I don’t recommend it, but it is possible if you exercise heavily and do it every day.
“I’m on a drunk diet,” she told The Sirius Morning Mash Show. “I like to drink whiskey and stuff while I’m working.”
Losing weight is a simple equation. Calories in and calories out. If you burn more calories than you take in then you lose weight. If you don’t then you gain weight. No amount of exercise is going to help you lose weight if you are pounding three or four regular beers a night. But if you drink light beer and work out it is possible to balance out the calories.
If you do drink I recommend light beer and booze with diet soda or water. It helps cut down on the calories.
“The deal is I’ve got to work out every day,” Gaga said. “And work out hung over if I’m hung over.”
We will be hearing more about this more in the future. Gaga’s man friend Luc Carl is writing a book called “The Drunk Diet.”
Remember we can do things that are not good for us as long as we do it in moderation and space it out.
