There will be a fun and exciting baking contest with a twist on Friday (April 1)at Leon and Lulu’s in Clawson. All desserts will be diabetic-friendly and is open to all amateur and professional chefs. The event runs from 5-8 p.m. and Detroit News writer Kate Lawson will judge the contest.
There is no charge for spectators. The event also serves as a fundraiser for Jacks Jaywalkers who support the American Diabetes Foundation’s Step out: Walk to Fight Diabetes.
