Step back in time at Marshall's 48th annual Historic Home Tour

It’s been called the “grand daddy” of Midwest Home Tours. And if you’ve never visited Marshall, this year’s 48th Annual Historic Home Tour Sept. 10 and 11 would be a great introduction to the city’s gracious homes, tree-lined streets homes and southern Michigan hospitality. Marshall is located off I-94 near Battle Creek.

The event, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, showcases seven historic private homes, an equal number of museums about diverse topics such as magic and gasoline; an old-fashioned hardware store, a governor’s mansion and an historic church.

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 day of tour and are good for both days.
