Playful, unique and fashion-forward are just a few words that describe the knitted projects in ‘The Best of Knitscene, A Collection of Simple, Stylish & Spirited Knits’ (Interweave/$24.95).
Lisa Shroyer has put together a beautiful collection of “the best patterns from top designers, including Connie Chang Ghinchio, Heather Lodinsky, Kate Osborn, Cecily Glowik MacDonald, Mathew Gnagy, and many more.” The patterns have been knitted by knitters everywhere, but now they’ve all been included in a single collection for future projects.
Featured patterns include, the Emily Shawl, Kenobi Jacket, Equinox Raglan, Michaelmas Mitts, a Berkshire Dolman Sweater and so much more.
For a chance to win a copy of the book, just email me at jbrown@detnews.com and tell me an interesting story about your knitting. Please put the word “knitscene” in the subject line, and REMEMBER to include your name and address.
Happy Knitting and Good Luck!!!
