Stay warm this winter with knitting patterns from “Shades of Winter, Knitting With Natural Wool” (Interweave/24.95) by Ingalill Johansson, a designer and quality manager for a large knitting company in Sweden, and Ewa K. Andinsson, who lives in Sweden and owns Andinsson Photography and a publishing company.
The book features more than 35 fashion-forward projects for stylish women of all ages. Among the projects are flirty dresses and skirts, knee socks, a lace shawl, a short-sleeved vest, cardigans, a ruffled-edge sweater, pullovers, wrist warmers, leg warmers and gloves.
If you’d like a chance at winning a copy of the book, just email me at jbrown@detnews.com and tell me an interesting story about one of your most recent knitting projects. Please put the word “wool” in the subject line, and REMEMBER to include your name and address. (I often receive entries without that information.)
GOOD LUCK!!!
