Needlework and Textile Guild of Michigan Meets

The Needlework and Textile Guild of Michigan (NTGM), a “multidisciplinary fiber-art guild with members whose interests range from quilting and embroidery to weaving, beading, wearable art and fiber sculptures,” meets every second Tuesday of the month.

The meetings begin at 9:30 a.m. and are held at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 165 East Square Lake Rd., in Bloomfield Hills.

The next meeting is scheduled for March 12 with Jane Dunnewold, author of “Complex Cloth” (1966), “Improvisational Screen Printing” (2003), “Finding Your Own Visual Language” (2007) and “Art Cloth: A Guide to Surface Design on Fabric” (2010), as the guest speaker.
