Cynthia Tinapple, founder of the blog Polymer Clay Daily and lifetime member of the International Polymer Clay Guild, has put together an informative book on the popular modeling medium. The book is titled “Polymer Clay Global Perspectives, Emerging Ideas and Techniques from 125 International Artists” (Potter Craft/$22.99).
She takes the reader on a fascinating journey into the world of polymer clay by showcasing 13 artists and their work, in addition to exploring different techniques for making a range of items, including jewelry, figurines and large scale artwork.
Readers will be amazed at the different techniques for creating texture and colorful design work as a way to add a more modern appeal to polymer clay work.
For a chance at winning a copy of the book, just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with a story about your jewelry making and why you’re interested in this book. Please put the word “polymer” in the subject line, and REMEMBER to include your name and address.
