Life's A Stitch! craft group holds first meeting Sept. 10th

Come September, there’ll be a new craft group in town called Life’s A Stitch. Members plan to gather every Tuesday, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., at Affirmations Community Center,  290 W. Nine Mile in Ferndale. The first meeting is set for Sept. 10th.

Persons, ages 18-100, are invited to join the group in a “safe and fun environment in which you can come together with like-minded individuals who share your passion for creativity.” Whether you knit, crochet, quilt, needlepoint, do macrame, make jewelry or “anything else you’d call a craft,” you’re welcome to join the group.

“Our mission for this group is to come together as a community of crafters and utilize our abilities and make friends while doing it! All experience levels welcome, beginner, intermediate (and) advanced. We ask that you be responsible for your own (craft) supplies,” reads the group’s flyer.
