Bead collectors and jewelry makers won’t want to miss the 10th annual African Bead Festival presented by MBAD/ABA African Bead Museum Saturday from 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
This year’s event features an exhibit of Kuba textiles from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, live entertainment with a drum performance by Efe of the Bambuti, vendors, tours of the outdoor installation ($3 per person), children’s activities and rare books.
Be sure to enter the drawing to win a painting by Dabls. Admission is free.
