The title of the book is “Crochet Red, Crocheting for Women’s Heart Health,” but you’ll, undoubtedly, be inspired to make many of the garments and accessories featured in other colors, as well.
With forewords by Deborah Norville and Vanna White, this “is the third book published as part of the Stitch Red campaign, created by Jimmy Beans Wool founder Laura Zander in order to raise awareness about the dangers of heart disease with the help of the fiber arts community.”
Add to your wardrobe by making garments like a lace shrug, swing coat, an asymmetrical sweater, a textured jacket, an eyelet stripe tunic, a flower garland cowl, a reversible wrap, a vortex slouchy hat, fingerless mitts and much more. There are even a few patterns for bags and totes, and decorative items for the home that include a pillow and throw.
For a chance to win a copy of the book, just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with a story about your crocheting experience. Please include the words “crochet red” in the subject line, and REMEMBER to include your name and address.
