The much-anticipated American Sewing Expo returns to Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi Sept. 26-28.
Guests will have the opportunity to take part in numerous seminars and workshops with fashion and costume designers, couture specialists, corset makers and teaching professionals.
New York City Fashion Institute of Technology couture professor Kenneth King and Butterick and Vogue pattern designer Katherine Tilton will be among the show instructors.
Shop for accessories, one-of-a-kind fabrics, supplies and accessories for home decorating, costuming, machine embroidery, quilting, wearable art and more.
Show hours are 9 a.m.-6 pm. Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is $14 and free for children 15 and younger with a paying adult. One-hour seminars are $14, all-day workshops are $130. Special combination packages are available, as well.
The Suburban Collection Showplace is at 46100 Grand River Ave., between Novi and Beck, in Novi.
