It’s that time of year when you probably want to knit warm accessories, and “Cozy Knits, 50 Fast & Easy Projects From Top Designers” (Interweave/18.95) offers a unique collection of simple patterns to make it all so ‘easy.’
The book’s author, Tanis Gray, former yarn editor for “Vogue Knitting,” has included a range of patterns for shawls, shrugs, mittens, hats, cowls, baby sweaters and blankets that will have you eagerly trying to decide which to make first. To name a few there’s the brioche du jour ribbed scarf, a lace capelet, a slip-stitch shawl, a brioche pullover, a lace and stockinette vest, cabled mittens and hat set and cabled leg warmers.
For a chance at winning a copy of the book, just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell me a little about some of the things you’ve knitted this year. Please include the word “cozy” in the subject line, and REMEMBER to include your name and address.
