1. Against Florida Southern on Friday, it will be Austin Jackson, Brennan Boesch, Miguel Cabrera in the 1-2-3 spots.
2. Prince Fielder, Delmon Young, Alex Avila in the 4-5-6 spots – with Young in left.
3. Followed by Jhonny Peralta, Andy Dirks and Ryan Raburn in the 7-8-9 spots – with Dirks at DH and Raburn at second.
4. Not that the starting lineup matters much, however, because those in it will get only one at-bat against FSC.
5. As for Saturday’s first major-league exhibition game against Atlanta, Jacob Turner will be among those who’ll pitch after starter Doug Fister – so it won’t take long to come away with a first impression of Turner’s work-in-progress slider.
