2. Drew Smyly has won the job as fifth starter, but won’t pitch until April 12.
3 That probably means he’ll make a minor-league start before then.
4. One more position-player move to be made – but Brandon Inge’s health status(last three games out because of a sore groin) probably isn’t serious enough to put him on DL – as a way around the decision.
5. Clete Thomas and Danny Worth are on the bubble. Probably only one of them makes it.
