Tips learned from Opening Day morning

OK, a few impressions of Opening Day in Detroit against the Boston Red Sox.
1. Wear a warm jacket and gloves. You could still see your breath when the gates opened at 10:30 a.m.
2. In a completely unscientific visual survey, the most popular Tiger jersey seen on fans is Justin Verlander followed by Miguel Cabrera.
3. Speaking of Verlander, the Tigers are handing out thousands of free DVDs titled: Verlander No-Hitter #2.
4. There is no place else on earth where you can stand in spot and smell hot dogs, Italian sausage with onions and peppers, roasted almonds, pizza, burgers, popcorn and impending victory over those guys from Boston.
