Scott Diamond may have looked past Omar Infante with Miguel Cabrera and Prince Fielder lurking. Infante made him pay and ended Diamond’s sparkling night on a sour note with a one-out, two-run homer. Infante hasn’t been everything Tigers fans were expecting after he came over in a mid-season trade, but he was the only Tiger able to touch Diamond on this night. 2-2 heading to the bottom of the eighth.
